MTV2 has teamed up with Revolver magazine to compile the "Best Metal Videos of the New Millenium" and Probot's video for "Shake Your Blood" has made the list of the 40 videos selected. Vote for Probot and support Southern Lord!

All week long, VH1 is airing a program entitled "The 100 Most Metal Moments" and Probot has made the list! Checkin' in at 50 in the Most Metal Moment countdown... "Foo Fighter Dave Grohl pays homage to metal roots with Probot". Check out the complete list of VH1's Most Metal Moments and tune into VH1 for the countdown this week. The Probot footage will probably air on Wednesday!

The Shake Your Blood Video can be seen on the season finale of the TV show "ER". The episode is scheduled to air May 13th, 2004.

DAVE GROHL TO APPEAR ON FUSE TV's URANIUM THIS FRIDAY MARCH 19th

Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer DAVE GROHL will be appearing on FUSE TV's heavy metal program URANIUM this Friday March 19th. Dave stops by to talk with host JULIYA about all things metal in honor of his critically acclaimed "Old School Metal" album PROBOT. Also stopping by to take part in the interview are metal legends WINO (St. Vitus, The Obsessed, Place of Skulls, Spirit Caravan), ERIC WAGNER (Trouble), and SNAKE (Voivod). In the interview, Dave talks about everything from how and why he started the project, his influences, the video for "Shake Your Blood" and the beautiful SUICIDE GIRLS burlesque troop who appear in the video, and of course he talks about what it was like to work with his heros like LEMMY.

Dave Grohl - "He's (Lemmy) one of the most intelligent people I've ever met. Super funny, but he has moments of dead seriousness when your talking about certain authors or history, he's an expert. But like he (Wino) said Lemmy's pretty much a stand up comedian. He was so pro in the studio, I was so nervous I actually had this one song I was gonna give to him but I wasn't sure about it, like 'Oh is it good enough?'..."

"...So he shows up at the studio and he says "Who wants a drink?" So I was like sure ill try to keep up with you so he goes straight to sink and pulls a dirty pint glass out and fills it up with jack and a little coke and we sat around talking. After a couple of those, I thought 'shit I got to get him in front of a mic before he falls out.' I said so 'what do you think about the song?' And he wrote two different songs and said "Tell me which one you like."

"To stand there listening to playback with him singing his song ideas in my ear, I was like is this really happening? Lemmy is singing like in my ear. He sang it twice we had to crank the mic up like this (adjusts mic really high to aim down) and just stood there with the paper. Then he played bass maybe two takes and then it was done. And after it was all done he was like "Who wants to go look at some tits?" He is a great man."
